ORBITAL DYNAMIC TEAM (GDNO)


GDNO - INFRASTRUCTURE

The Group of Orbital Dynamic (GDNO) uses the infrastructure of DMC Division, sharing the developed technologies and experiences acquired in the space missions that the group participates.

The main infrastructure of the group is based on the knowledge and acquired technology. Such experiences are transferred to the applications of software developed, tested and qualified in missions, providing support for other groups.

Supported for computers endowed with several language compilers, computer interconnected by network, and of equipment acquired in internal or external projects to the INPE, the GDNO explores Receivers GPS (Ashtec-Z12), modular computers (National PXI-2000 and PXI-1000), compilers FORTRAN, C/C++ and VisualBasic.

Under knowledge point of view, the group has the following capabilities: Attitude, orbit and trajectory determination and estimation procedures using LQRT, Kalman Filters
(for spin, dual-spin and 3-axis stabilization), for real-time applications, data pre-processing and pos-processing, network application development (standalone and distributed environment), GPS receivers aquisition and data convertion, graphic visualization at Real-Time (using OpenGL technology).
